We have received a particular request from one partner who needed to pick up a ringing call of a colleague within the same ACL group, but in the WMS Network.
Wildix systems allow you to pick up a ringing call of any user belonging to the same ACL group (Feature Code "Pickup", 88 by default); however users must be registered to the same PBX.
Otherwise you can use the same Feature Code and specify the extension number of the user in order to pick up a ringing call.
Group Pickup is limited to users of the same PBX, in order not to overload the WMS Network while searching for the ringing call to pick up.
However Group pickup is still possible, even for a colleague registered to another PBX. You just have to specify in Dialplan, on which PBXs to search for the ringing call to pick up.
Here is an example of the Dialplan configuration in which, by calling 88 (Pickup Feature Code by default), the system searches for the ringing call to pick up first on the remote PBX and then, if no calls are found, also on the local PBX.
